Personalized Gowns – Process & Terms

What to Expect (Step-by-Step Process)

Step 1: Design Consultation & Finalization

We work closely with you to finalize all details of your gown, including:

  • Silhouette, neckline, and structure
  • Fabrics, lace, and embellishments
  • Measurements

Production begins only after all details are confirmed.

Step 2: First Payment & Production Start

Once your design is finalized, your first payment is submitted.

At this stage:

  • Pattern making begins immediately
  • Your production timeline officially starts

We offer up to 10 interest-free payments, allowing flexibility throughout the process.

Step 3: Production Progress & Photos

In most cases, during production, we often provide progress photos so you can see your gown taking shape.

At this stage:

  • You may request revisions to ensure the gown reflects the agreed design

Please note:

  • Production photos are provided at our convenience
  • They are not guaranteed upon request or at specific stages

Step 4: Completion & Final Approval

Once your gown is complete:

  • Final photos are sent for your approval

At this point:

  • Any necessary adjustments to match the agreed design will be completed
  • Once approved, the remaining balance is paid

Step 5: Shipping

  • Your gown will ship within 7 days after completion
  • All gowns are shipped from the United States with full insurance

Terms & Conditions

Production Time

  • Typical: 12–14 weeks
  • Maximum: Up to 20 weeks, depending on complexity
  • Expedited orders: Contact us for availability

Production time begins once:

  • First payment is received
  • Measurements are submitted
  • All design details are finalized
Important: Timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Revisions requested by the client or delays in communication may extend production time. Your designer may give estimates on completion based on their experience and general production speed. Estimates are not guaranteed.

Recommendation: Order at least 6 months before your wear date.

Communication & Expectations

We pride ourselves on providing thoughtful, personal communication throughout the design process. Because each gown is created by hand and often involves detailed craftsmanship, our time is carefully balanced between production and client updates.

During the process:

  • We provide updates at key stages of production
  • We often share progress photos when the gown has reached a stage where meaningful feedback can be given
  • Messages after production begins will be answered within 2 business days

To maintain the quality of both our work and communication:

  • Updates and photos are provided at our discretion, rather than on demand
  • Daily or real-time updates are not part of the commissioned process

This approach allows us to focus on what matters most — creating your gown with the highest level of care and attention to detail. We are always happy to answer important questions and guide you through the process, and we do our best to respond in a timely and helpful manner.

Payment Terms

We offer up to 10 interest-free payments.

  • Payments must be made consistently throughout production
  • If a payment is missed, production may be paused
  • All payments must be made before the dress is shipped.

Production Milestones

  • Pattern making and fabric selection begins after first payment
  • Fabric is purchased after sufficient payments have been made to support that cost

Revisions & Design Changes

  • Adjustments that bring the gown closer to the originally agreed design: No charge
  • New design changes outside the original agreement: Additional fees may apply

Production Photos

  • Progress photos are typically provided during production
  • Photos are shared at our discretion
  • Most stages of production are not photographed.

Alterations

Alterations are a normal and expected part of the bridal process. Even with precise measurements:

  • A gown is not constructed directly on your body
  • Fit preferences and body proportions vary

We strongly recommend working with a local alterations specialist, who can:

  • Fit the gown directly on you
  • Make precise, real-time adjustments
  • Ensure the final fit reflects your preferences

Alterations are the responsibility of the customer.

Returns & Refunds

A return or refund may be accepted only if:

  • The finished gown measurements are more than 2 inches smaller than the measurements provided, or
  • The gown arrives less than 3 days before your event date due to our delay
Important: Orders placed without allowing sufficient production time are not eligible under this condition

Additional notes:

  • Proof of event date may be required
  • Returns must be approved before sending
  • Items must be returned in original condition
  • Refunds are issued after inspection

Final Payment & Storage

  • Final balance is due after approval of final photos
  • Customers have 2 weeks to complete payment

After this period:

  • A $25 per week storage fee will apply

All personalized gowns are made by us based on your selected design. We only use images of gowns we have created. Your dress will reflect the agreed design, materials, and construction discussed during the ordering process.
